RMG Container Gantry Crane

Description

RMG rail container gantry crane is an efficient lifting equipment in container yards. Its structure is mainly composed of gantry frames, large truck running mechanisms, lifting mechanisms and trolley running mechanisms. The gantry adopts a box beam structure, which has high strength and stiffness, and can withstand heavy loads and wind loads. The gantry running mechanism moves the crane longitudinally along the track. Lifting mechanism is responsible for the vertical lifting of the container, while the gantry running mechanism realizes the horizontal movement of the container on the gantry beam. With advanced automated control systems, RMG gantry crane can achieve accurate positioning and efficient operation.

Rail mounted container gantry crane also pays attention to stability and safety in structural design. The gantry has two parallel legs and an upper cross beam. To meet different yard needs, the span of RMG cranes is adjustable, usually covering multiple container lanes. The lifting mechanism is driven by wire rope or chain, equipped with a dual suspender system. It can handle one 40-foot or two 20-foot containers simultaneously, significantly improving operating efficiency. The electrical system adopts frequency conversion control technology to achieve smooth start-up and precise positioning while reducing energy consumption.
